What Are the Most Common Resume Mistakes Candidates Make Resumes are tough to perfect  and unfortunately job seekers continue to make the same errors time after time, which can let them down on their hunt for a new job. This week we asked the Undercover Recruiter community to let us know what the  most common and critical resume/CV mistakes that candidates make are and in turn, what they can improve on. There are all sorts of different factors that can contribute to the quality and effectiveness of a candidates CV and we received a whole spectrum of responses from the community,  ranging from spelling and grammar mistakes, to making the document too general for the  specific role they are applying for.
